Vanessa Dawson, food blog owner, the Netherlands
After working 8 years in Sales, where I mainly helped companies and brands make the transition to online business, I decided to start a site myself. I initiated the project and started a blog about my biggest passion: tasty food! And I used my other passion, photography, to enhance the story.
I blog about all my culinary passions. So the blog can include my own recipes, hotspots, interviews with other chefs or foodies, but it will also be a source of inspiration for you all. Think, for instance, of new products or cookbooks that keep to come about. I also work on behalf of companies and brands to increase their presence online.
I try to make the recipes on my blog as authentic as possible and that’s why I spend a lot of time developing a recipe. Very important, ‘authentic’ means to me that the dish tastes exactly like in the country of origin; so my inspiration also comes from an expert in cooking that recipe or from family or friends who have been making a dish already for years in the same way.
In addition, I think it’s a fantastic idea that my kids, later when they’re all grown up, will be able to read what we used to eat and/or look for their favourite recipes.
Have fun making my recipes and, especially, enjoy your meal!
